An online meeting was held on June 22 with successful candidates who submitted a letter of consent to Khazar University to be involved in pedagogical activities after completing their studies at foreign universities within the framework of the State Program for Enhancing the International Competitiveness of the Higher Education System in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2019-2023.

The meeting was attended by the rector of Khazar University and employees of higher education faculties. Rector of the University, Associate Professor Irada Khalilova congratulated the doctoral students and wished them success in the new academic year. Then the issues as the implementation of the requirements of the tripartite agreement concluded under the terms of the program, the obligations of doctoral students, etc. were discussed.

Note that before the competition many candidates applied to Khazar university for the program, several meetings were held to get acquainted with their research areas and plans, and clarify their qualifications, and then the suitable candidates were given a letter confirming their consent to be involved in pedagogical activities at the university after completing their studies. As per results of competition, it has been decided to finance doctoral education of the following students within the State Program: Lalakhanim Orujova "Education Management" at the University of South Florida in the USA, Aygun Badalova "Neuroscience, Physiology and Pharmacology" at the University College London in the UK, Osman Garayev's "Economics" at the Institute of Social Sciences, Istanbul University, Turkey, Sardar Asadov "Petroleum Engineering" at the University of Tulsa.
