On June 8, 2021, Rector of Khazar University Irada Khalilova made an extensive visit to UFAZ laboratory corpus together with UFAZ Management, Director Vazeh Askarov, Secretary General Elizaveta Bydanova, and Head of Research Department Prof. Philippe Turek, as well as UFAZ Faculty members Elshan Abdullayev and Fidan Aslanzade.

Positively impressed by the premises and infrastructure of the UFAZ scientific laboratories, Irada Khalilova conveyed her highest appreciation of the vast laboratory facilities that are equipped in full compliance with international standards. Prof. Khalilova got acquainted with the educational, most importantly the research opportunities that UFAZ is offering to its students and partners.

In the meeting, collaboration between UFAZ and Khazar University’s young researchers was widely discussed. Several areas of cooperation were mentioned including research possibilities, joint projects as well as exchange of instructors and usage of lab facilities in both universities.
