On May 21, 2021, Khazar University, in partnership with Middlesex University (UK), held another webinar within the framework of the Creative Spark project funded by British Council. The guest speaker of the seminar entitled “Women in Entrepreneurship - Challenges and Opportunities” was Lala Mirzayeva, founder and director of Zuleykha Magazine and Zuleykha Accessories. The seminar began with an introductory speech by Sabina Guluyeva, Project Manager at Khazar University’s Development Office. She spoke about a series of seminars held within the framework of the Creative Spark project and introduced the guest speaker of the seminar to the participants.

Further on, rector of Khazar University, Associate Professor Irada Khalilova, greeted the participants. She highlighted the importance of these seminars for students.

Then Lala Mirzayeva spoke about her education and career life, the difficulties she faced on this way and her motivation in entrepreneurship.

At the end, Lala Mirzayeva answered the questions addressed to her and shared her experience with the students.

The event was attended by students and staff of Khazar University.
