A textbook by Dr. Asaf Mammad Omarov, Head of the Department of Life Sciences at Khazar University, entitled “Basic of Veterinary Epidemiology,” was published by “Muallim Nashriyyat”.
The textbook entitled “Basic of Veterinary Epidemiology” was developed based on the analysis of available theoretical and applied report of history, basic principles of veterinary epidemiology, its objectives, new disease control strategies, animal welfare, national and international accountability, methods of acquiring hypoteses, causality, associations and their types, describing disease occurrence, determinants of diseases, measures of disease occurrence and its q expression - prevalence, incidence, the relationship between them, mortality and health indicators, lethality, diagnostic reactions and their interpretation.
