On April 13, 2021, a national cluster meeting of Erasmus+ projects was organized by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the National Erasmus Office of Azerbaijan. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the impact of Erasmus+ projects on the modernization, accessibility, employment and development of university-business cooperation of higher education institutions, as well as to encourage higher education institutions to cooperate in various projects.
The head of the Azerbaijan National Erasmus Office Parviz Baghirov opened the meeting and informed the participants about the purpose of the meeting. Representative of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan Vusala Gurbanova greeted the participants, spoke about the benefits of Erasmus+ projects for Azerbaijani higher education institutions and wished success to the participants. The cluster meeting was moderated by Zafar Hasanov, an employee of the Azerbaijan National Erasmus Office.
The event participants were informed about five Erasmus+ projects (PICASP, WORK4CE, ECAR, UniClaD, UniLab) and project partners and their questions were answered. After the presentations, extensive discussions began and university representatives offered opportunities and ways of joint cooperation within and outside the projects.
Khazar University participated in the national cluster meeting as a PICASP and UniLab project partner. The University was represented by Ulkar Bayramova, Sabina Guluyeva and Elnura Akhmadzada.
