On April 2, 2021, Khazar University’s Teaching and Learning Center, as well as the Department of Philosophy and Political Science, hosted the next virtual research seminar for master, doctoral students, university staff, and researchers. It was presented by Dr. Josefina Blazsani-Batto, a staff member of the Foreign Languages Department of the Azerbaijan University of Languages, on “Teaching Romanian in Baku as an example of cultural diplomacy.”
Dr. Blazsani-Batto provided the participants with detailed information on international cultural diplomacy, how it is implemented, as well as the work done by the Center for Romanian Language and Culture at the Azerbaijan University of Languages, exhibitions, projects and exchange programs. At the end of the presentation, participants asked Dr. Blazsani-Batto questions on the topic.
It should be noted that the event was attended by students and staff of Khazar University, as well as participants from other universities in Azerbaijan, alongside Turkey, Romania, the Czech Republic and Moldova.
