The next course of the “Education in Business for Engineers” project, launched on March 1 by the Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) and BP, ended in two weeks.
A total of 300 people applied to participate in the project, which aims to develop leadership and administrative skills and expand career opportunities for students majoring in engineering.
Only 3rd, 4th and 5th year engineering students with high English language skills were selected. 80 participants, including 4th and 5th year students of Baku Higher Oil School and 3rd and 4th year students of other higher education institutions, were admitted to the course.
Participants represented Baku Higher Oil School, Azerbaijan-French University (UFAZ), Baku Engineering University, University of Architecture and Construction, Khazar University, Baku State University and Azerbaijan State University of Oil and Industry.
The online course covering 6 modules - “Presentation and Communication Skills”, “Project Management”, “Time Management and Efficiency”, “Risk Management”, “Introduction to Financial, Budget and Expenditure Control”, “Fundamentals of Human Resource Management and Leadership”- has been conducted entirely in English by experienced international specialists of Baku Higher Oil School. At the end of the program, those who successfully completed the course have been provided with certificates.
