On January 7, 2020, Dr. Elmar Mustafayev, Chair of the Political Science and Philosophy Department, delivered a seminar on “Foreign Policy of Azerbaijan” at Tübingen University in Germany. Attendees of the seminar were the MA students of Tübingen University that will represent the Azerbaijani Delegation at the Model of United Nations to be held in New York. The seminar was focused on balanced multi-vector foreign policy of Azerbaijan, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and its implications to the regional security, bilateral relations of Azerbaijan with regional and external actors, the Eastern Partnership and the EU-Azerbaijan relations, energy policy of Azerbaijan, and the role of Azerbaijan as a transport corridor between Europe and Central Asia, and between Russia and the Middle East.

The seminar was followed by a Q&A session and debate on the above-mentioned topics.
