December 19, 2019, Associate Professor Irada Khalilova, the Rector of the University, Dr. Asaf Omarov, Head of the Life Sciences Department, Associate Professor Javid Ojagi, and Saida Sharifova, Head of the Division of Graduate Studies and Research, visited the Scientific Vegetable Research Institute. The main purpose of the visit was to collaborate in the field of scientific research, to build cooperation between scientists and specialists of the Institute and the University, faculty, students and to conduct joint research in the field of science and education. The delegation got acquainted with Institute's greenhouses, agrobiotechnology, plant protection, functional analysis, production, storage and quality laboratories. At the end of the visit, an Agreement on Cooperation in science, education and research was signed between Khazar University and the Azerbaijan Scientific Vegetable Research Institute.
