December 18, 2019, Associate Professor Irada Khalilova, Rector of Khazar University, held a meeting with Jan van Swieten, Rector of the Netherlands Business Academy, and Dr. Iosefina Blazsani-Batto, Head of the Romanian Language and Culture Center at the Azerbaijan University of Languages. Professor Mahammad Nuriyev, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Ms. Raziya Isayeva, Director of Development Center, Dr. Elmar Mustafayev, Head of the Political Science and Philosophy Department, and Ulkar Bayramova, Director of Teaching and Learning Centre, took part in the meeting. During the discussions with the guests, the parties touched upon such matters as the development of inter-university relations and the establishment of new cooperations. The project “Mediation: Learning and Social Transformation” (MEDIATS), coordinated by the Netherlands Business Academy and with the participation of Khazar University, was discussed, and within the framework of the project, the training sessions for Khazar University staff was negotiated and moreover the organization of conferences and seminars was scheduled.
