On December 16, 2019, Khazar University hosted an event entitled “Integration of People with Disabilities into Society” organized by Nilufar Alizade, an instructor and PhD student at the Department of Psychology. Speaking at the event, journalist Khulya Jafarova, PR manager of “Qayghi” Healthy Generation Public Union, teacher of the ASU SABAH groups, author of the best-seller book “Prince of the Wind” (“Yel kürəsinin şahzadəsi”), delivered talk on the role of the media outlets in integration of the people with disabilities, about practical use of foreign models, current problems and reforms in Azerbaijan. The topic that was of particular interest for the students was continued by Khanlar Mammadov, an activist in this field who shared his own experiences with the youth. He informed the students about the achievements he gained, despite some physical limitations.
