From December 6 to 13, 2019, Joint Management Meetings and Trainings with partner universities under the project “Mediation: Training and Society Transformation” (MEDIATS), coordinated by the Netherlands Business Academy, took place at the Turiba University in Latvia. The event was attended by Khazar University representatives Dr. Elmar Mustafayev, Director of Political Science and Philosophy Department, Ulkar Bayramova, Director of Teaching and Learning Centre, Melek Karimova, Coordinator of the Psychology Department, Lamiya Panahova, Coordinator of the International Affairs Office, and Nilufar Alizade, instructor at the Psychology Department.

Practical mediation trainings were conducted for about 40 delegates from 10 partner universities (Azerbaijan, Georgia, Ukraine, Netherlands, Spain and Latvia). During the event, the project management meeting was held, reports on the work delivered were listened out, and future issues, dates of the upcoming project meetings and trainings were discussed.
