Representatives of LIC Participated in the 1st Inter-University Library Forum

On November 28, 2019, the 1^st Inter-University Library Forum was held at the Azerbaijan State Economic University (UNEC) for the first time in the country. The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Culture, rectors of higher education institutions, members of parliament, heads of leading libraries and other guests. During the Conference, the discussions and exchange of useful ideas took place concerning the development of the library field in Azerbaijan.

After the Conference, UNEC Reading Hall No.1 was opened. Guests had an opportunity to get acquainted with the UNEC 24/7 library. During the Forum discussions were held on the main problems, perspectives and goals faced by university libraries in the 21^st century. Khazar University Library and Information Center Director Tatyana Zaytseva and Deputy Director Aytac Misgarli also attended the Forum.
