As it was previously reported, the booklet on “Some Considerations on Translation of the Quran” by Alirza Balayev, the Deputy editor-in-chief of Khazar Review Journal, has been published.

In this booklet the author substantiated the incorrect translation of the words “Kafir” in the Russian and English translations of the Quran, “Masjid al-Haram”, “Beit al-Haram”, “Shahr al-haram” and “jummal” in the translation into Azerbaijani, Turkish and Russian, and offered correct translation models.

A summary of the part related to the translation of the Quran into Turkish has been published in “Anadolu” newspaper, issues no.9 and 18 of July 2019, authored by Aflatun Nemetzade, Special correspondent in Turkey of the “Respublika” newspaper, under the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
