On June 25, 2019, Under the scientific supervision of Associate Professor Gasham Zeynalov, Head of the Department of Oil Engineering at Khazar University, the master students of the Department - Amin Lalani, “Equation of state modeling for the development plan and economic analysis of the gas condensate reservoir of Pakistan's Ahdi field”; and Vugar Kazimov “Research on the issues of increasing the well productivity on the exploited fields under severe conditions (case of Buzovna-Mashtaga field)”, successfully defended theirs dissertations before the Defense Council of Thesis Committee at Khazar University. The Chairman of the Thesis Committee is Araz Asadov and Associate Professor Gasham Zeynalov, Dr. Ali Huseynli, Tahir Mammadov, Development Engineer of the Azerbaijani branch of “Umid Babak Operating Company”, and Jeyhun Alipanahov, Deputy Chief of the Platform of the Oil Production Department “28 May” of SOCAR are the members of the Committee.

It is worth mentioning that on May 27, under the supervision of Associate Professor Gasham Zeynalov, another two Master students from Petroleum Engineering Department - Murad Asgarov, “The role of well stimulation methods in the optimization of production in oil and gas fields” and Aws Mohammed Ali Alkhateeb, “Comparative analysis of increasing oil extraction in Iraq's oil field in exhaustion process: Modeling of Regimes Using Eclipse Software” have efficiently defended their master dissertations before the Defense Council of Thesis Committee at Khazar University.
