On April 12, 2019, representatives of the Oxford, Lincoln and Cambridge Universities visited Khazar University. The aim of the meeting was to give information about the academic project named 'Science, Philosophy and Theology: Central and Eastern European Perspectives'. The project is an Oxford University-based initiative funded by the Templeton Foundation, dedicated to supporting high-potential work in these fields in Central and Eastern European countries.
Participants from the Khazar University included Ms. Lyudmila Sotova, Head of Quality Assurance Department; Ms. Turan Jafarova, Director of International Affairs Office; Jabir Mammadli, the Coordinator of the Division of Graduate Studies and Research; Malak Karimova, Coordinator at the Department of Psychology and Director of Psychology Center; Ulkar Bayramova, Director of Training Center; Dr. Vasif Huseynov, full time instructor of Political Science and Philosophy Department; Mr. Tural Huseynli, lecturer of Political Science and Philosophy Department.
Staff members informed guests about research capacity, international relations of the University. Moreover, mutual collaboration opportunities on interdisciplinary research, organization of conferences, and academic projects were discussed during the meeting.
