“Studying at Khazar gives me confidence” says Christina Rechkunova, a second-year MBA student from Russia. Christina received a scholarship from Khazar University to pursue her master’s in Financial Management.
Christina says that deciding on the right university to pursue her master’s studies was not an easy process: “I took me a while to make up my mind. It was important that the university I select provides high quality education and opportunities for personal development. I also wanted to explore Azerbaijan – the country where my father was born. I started to ask advice from students studying in Azerbaijan and getting their feedback in various forums. I was very careful selecting a university and finally made up my mind to apply to Khazar University.”
“Khazar exceeded my expectations. Classes here are very lively and interactive: we spend the whole lesson discussing, expressing our opinions and views. I participated in an interview at a leading audit company and they were surprised with my knowledge of financial management and taxation. I learned and other concepts pertinent to my field at my University, and this gave me the confidence during the interview.” Read Christina’s full interview here.
Interview with Christina Rechkunova was conducted within the project carried out by the International Affairs Office entitled “World and Khazar.” The project includes a series of interviews with members of international community of Khazar University.
