On March 29, 2019, the Job fair, being jointly organized with the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population of the Republic of Azerbaijan, was held at Khazar University. In an opening statement, Associate Professor Irada Khalilova, Acting Rector of Khazar University spoke about the importance of Career fair. Fatima Alakbarova, Deputy Head of Baku City Employment Center and others also delivered talks emphasizing the significance of the Job fair. Overall, 55 companies operating in Baku participated in the fair. 278 vacancies were presented to the job seekers by these companies. Senior students of Khazar University actively participated in the 4-hour Job fair and filled in the job applications for the relevant job announcements.
