On March 12, 2019, Hamlet Isakhanli, the founder of Khazar University and Chairman of its Board of Directors and Trustees, Alovsat Amirbeyli, Director for Public Relations and Media, and Imdat Avshar, Turkish poet-writer visited Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University. Professor Muhsin Kar, the Rector of the University, Vice-rectors, Faculty Deans cordially welcomed the guests. Rector Muhsin Kar gave a detailed information about the University to the guests. Professor Hamlet Isakhanli, the founder of Khazar University and Chairman of its Board of Directors and Trustees, providing information about Khazar University, its faculties and majors, handed over a present to the Rector of the Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University. Afterwards a Protocol of understanding and a Mevlana exchange protocol were signed between the two Universities with the participation of the members of the Scientific Council of Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University. M.Kar presented the University's gifts to Hamlet Isakhanli. Furthermore, on behalf of the Rector of the University, a large reception was organized in honor of guests from Khazar University. After the reception guests were introduced to the University and its installed modern laboratories. The head of both Universities decided to hold joint symposiums and conferences in the future.
