On March 4, 2019, Melek Karimova, Coordinator of the Department of Psychology of Khazar University and Director of the Center for Psychological Service, attended the event on “The Place and Role of Women in a Modern Society” held at the Theology Institute of Azerbaijan (TIA). Psychologist Melek Karimova delivered speech on “Women's Psychology: Women's Ways of Problem Solving and Thinking” explaining examples of women's brain structure, ways of thinking and evaluation of the events.
The event was attended by Aynur Veysalova, Senior Advisor to the Information and Analytical Research Department of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs, Sevda Zamanova, Deputy Chief on Education of Penitentiary Service No. 4, Lieutenant Colonel of Justice, Kifayat Aghayeva, Associate Professor of the Regional Studies Faculty of the Azerbaijan University of Languages and Director of the Gender Studies Center, Mehriban Zeynalova, Chairperson of the “Temiz Dunya” Women Assistance Public Union, Gulshan Aliyeva, Inspector of the Office on Organizing Educational Work of the Penitentiary Service, Ahmed Niyazov, Doctor of Philosophy, Head of the Faculty of Islamic Studies of the Theology Institute, Javid Imamoglu, National Program Development Director of the “SOS Children's Villages Azerbaijan Association”, and also attended by the experts and students and faculty staff of the Institute.
During the event, the place and role of a woman in modern society, work carried out in this direction, existing problems and perspectives were discussed.
