On March 1, 2019, the event was held on the occasion of the birthday of Professor Hamlet Isakhanli, the Founder of Khazar University and Chairman of its Board of Directors and Trustees. The event was attended by university administration, deans, department directors, employees and guests.

Conveying congratulatory remarks, Irada Khalilova, Acting Rector of the University, handed in a bouquet of flowers to Professor Hamlet Isakhanli.

Professor Mahammad Nuriyev, Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, spoke about the multifaceted activities of Professor Hamlet Isakhanli – as a founder of education his establishment of an exemplary University, varied scientific and literary creativity and wished him success in his future activities.

Elnara Dadashova, Professor of the Academy of Music named after Uzeyir Hajibeyli, Honored Art Worker and Composer congratulated Professor Hamlet Isakhanli on his birthday and said that she had composed music to one of his poetry and presented music sheet to him.

During the event, the University's Camera orchestra led by Professor Zulfiyya Sadigova, Head of the Department of Music and Fine Arts, honored teacher, presented a wide concert program. Lead singers at this concert were Mahsati Jabbarova, Khazar University's teacher and soloist Elvin Aliyev. Chorus group consisting of the University staff and the boys and girls dance collective also performed at the event.

At the end Professor Hamlet Isakhanli expressed his gratitude to the event organizers and participants.
