On February 14, 2019, with the coordination of the Department of History and Archeology of Khazar University, a meeting with Horizon-2020 project participants was held. The main aim of the meeting was to facilitate the exchange of academic cultures and scientific knowledge and establish international cooperation between universities.
The meeting was attended by Dominik Gutmeyr, Instructor at Graz University, Expert on Southeast European History and Anthropology, Project Manager of "Knowledge Exchange and Academic Cultures in the Humanities. Europe and the Black Sea Region" project; Zaur Hasanov, Head of Department at the Institute of Archeology and Ethnography of ANAS and national coordinator of the Horizon 2020 for Azerbaijan; Tamaz Putkaradze, Professor of the Department of History, Archeology and Ethnology of Batumi State University (Associate Professor), project team member; Orkhan Zamanov, researcher at of the Scientific Expedition Department of the Institute of Archeology and Ethnography of ANAS and Instructor at Khazar University, project member; Emin Dadashov, Head of the Department of External Relations and Scientific- Mass Work of the National Museum of History of Azerbaijan of ANAS.
Moreover, Roza Arazova, Head of the Department of History and Archeology; Firangiz Nasirova, Head Instructor of the Department of English Language and Literature; Ziya Samadov, Instructor of Department of History and Archeology and Ilaha Yusifli, Assistant at the same department, attended the event.
Roza Arazova, Head of the Department of History and Archeology, made an opening speech and emphasized the importance of international relations in science.
