On February 14, 2019, a representative of the University of Tehran Aras International Campus Dr. Farzad Ghasemzadeh visited Khazar University’s Neftchiler Campus.

The goal of the meeting was to discuss cooperation between the two universities, in particular, in research and joint programs. Participants of the meeting also discussed the exchange of PhD students and staff, recognition of Khazar University degrees in Iran, and other issues of mutual interest.

Khazar University staff members who participated in the meeting included Assoc. Prof. Irada Khalilova, Acting Rector, Prof. Mahammad Nuriyev, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Dr. Jeyhun Mammadov, Dean of the School of Economics and Management, Mr. Jabir Mammadli, Coordinator of Division of Graduate Studies and Research, and Ms. Turan Jafarova, Director of International Affairs Office.

A Memorandum of Understanding will soon be signed between the two universities.
