On February 4-8, 2019, Elmar Mustafayev – head of Political Science and Philosophy Department, Malak Karimova – coordinator of the Psychology Department and Director of Khazar Psychological Center, Lamiya Panahova – coordinator of International Affairs Office, and Nilufar Alizada – lecturer of the Psychology Department, participated in a number of meetings and trainings at Netherlands Business Academy.
Around 35 representatives from 10 partner universities of 6 countries came together to participate in the meetings and start the Erasmus+ Key Action 2 project “Mediation: Training and Society Transformation (MEDIATS)”. A number of key topics that are targeted by the project were discussed during the meetings, such as developing a mediation federation and a degree curriculum on mediation. Khazar staff participated in several trainings as well to acquire a comprehensive insight into the importance of mediation and the role it plays in society’s positive transformation.
At the end of the fruitful week, each country represented an action plan describing measures to be taken and works to be done for successful implementation of the project through the next 3 years.
