On January 29, 2019, the Department of Foreign Affairs and Massive Scientific Research of the National History Museum of Azerbaijan, ANAS, in collaboration with the Council of Young Scholars and Experts co-organized presentation of "City Art Azerbaijan" at the National History Museum of Azerbaijan.
The presentation ceremony was attended by partners and authors of the project - Khazar University, the Council of Young Scholars and Experts of ANAS, the Institute of Architecture and Art of Azerbaijan, the National History Museum of Azerbaijan, Gobustan National Historical and Artistic Reserve, Mirza Alakbar Sabir Foundation, representatives of the "Azerbaijan Archaeological Society" Public Union, young artists, sculptors, photographers media representatives.
Academician Naila Valikhanli, Director of the Museum, delivered an opening speech. She remarked that it was important to promote city art of Baku as well as the history of our people among the young generation. For this purpose, it is vital to beautify our cities, promote progressive ideas, and disseminate the idea of "city art". She also wished success to the projects implemented in this sphere.
Then Sevinj Nasirova, Chair of the Council of Young Scholars of the National History Museum of Azerbaijan; Orkhan Zamanov, Researcher of the Institute of Archeology and Ethnography of ANAS and Instructor of the Department of History and Archaeology of Khazar University; Alovsat Amirbayli, Director of Public Relations and Media of Khazar University; Afag Karimova, Director of the Museum of Fine Arts and Art of Khazar University; Roza Arazova, archaeologist and Head of Department of History and Archeology of Khazar University; artist Saida Musayeva, associate of Gobustan National Historical and Artistic Reserve; Sevda Tahirli, President of the Mirza Alakbar Sabir Foundation; Famin Salmanov, Chair of the Council of Young Scholars of ANAS; Nargiz Khalaf, Secretary and member of the Council on State Support to Non-Governmental Organizations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan; and Farhad Guliyev, Head of the Department of Scientific Exposition of the Institute of Archeology and Ethnography of ANAS, delivered speeches.
