On January 24, 2019, Malak Karimova, Director of Khazar Psychology Service Center and Coordinator at the Department of Psychology, had a meeting with parents at “Dunya” school affiliated with Khazar University. During the meeting, participants discussed several issues such as consideration of age characteristics of children while communicating with them, the importance of collaboration between parents and school, as well as “myths” regarded as “truths” in parents’ approaches to children, and knowledge and skills to be required in the near future. Furthermore, parents were also enlightened about how to educate children to encourage them to love life and enjoy work. Parents expressed their satisfaction with the meeting and remarked the importance of having regular meetings of this kind.
