Next issue (volume 21, number 2, 2018) of the Azerbaijan Archeology Journal, a Khazar University publication, was published. This edition of the journal is dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Gara Mammad oghlu Ahmadov, one of the outstanding Azerbaijani archaeologists, D.Sc. in History, professor, and a correspondent member of Azerbaijan National Academy Sciences.

This edition of the journal includes articles by national and international archaeologists. An article co-authored by Andreas Schachner, Sergei Bocharov and Ayrat Sitdikov was also published in this edition.

Articles by national archeologists such as Gudrat Ismayilov, Tarikh Dostiyev, Emil Iskenderov, Rashid Bashirov, Khagani Habibov, Shahla Nuruzadeh were also included in the current issue of the journal.

The second part of the journal is comprised of chronicles of various conferences. The current issue also includes information on the importance of various conferences such as "Nakhchivan: Capital of Islamic Culture", "International Conference of Archaeologists on the Issyk-Lake coast", and "International conference dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the discovery of Azykhantrop".
