Concert of Chamber Orchestra of Khazar University for the State Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan for Mobilization and Conscription

On December 21, 2018, Chamber Orchestra of Khazar University held a concert (artistic director: Assoc.Prof. Zulfiyya Sadigova, Head of the Department of Music and Art, Honored Teacher, a pianist) for associates of the State Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan for Mobilization and Conscription in Conference-Concert Center named after Fikrat Amirov. The conductor was Fakhraddin Karimov, People's Artist of Azerbaijan.

Prof. Lala Huseynova, vice-rector of Azerbaijan National Conservatory, delivered an opening speech.

Then soloists - Honored Artist Lala Mammadova, Emin Zeynalli, Aynur Isgandarli, Nigar Jalilova, Orkhan Jalilov, Ayan Gurbanova and Parviz Gasimov performed songs by Azerbaijani composers as well as songs with lyrics by Prof. Hamlet Isakhanli, founder of Khazar University and Chairman of its Board of Directors and Trustees. Honored Artist Shirzad Fataliyev played the zurna and Nizamaddin Azizov played the drums.
