On December 25 and 27, 2018, in 3 competitions organized on support of “Robotics” team (Mahammad Mammadli and Ali Rustamov), 3 innovative discoveries of Emin Bayramov, a 3rd-year student of the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences of Khazar University, were entitled to the final:
1. Cleantech Ideation Bootcamp 2018 Social Innovation Lab is a start-up competition looking for innovative solutions to climate change through entrepreneurship and business ideas. Khazar University team joined the competition with “Drinko” idea and gained the 4th place. “Drinko” idea was developed for the purpose of contributing immensely to 2 biggest problems the world faces at the moment. These problems are clean water provision and reduction of CO2 emission in the atmosphere.
2. The main aim of II National Youth Science and Creativity Competition organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sport of the Republic of Azerbaijan is to encourage the youth in science and innovation, stimulate their social initiatives, provide them with a suitable setting to demonstrate their potential in innovation, and encourage them in scientific research. Robot developers of Khazar University participating in this competition with “Robin Food” idea performed successfully in the final and were certified. “Robin Food” is a platform providing people with food who are in need. Within this platform, a program system was established which, with GPS, identifies the place of people who want to share food and sends a car to the place. First, food is tested and packed and then delivered to people in need.
3. With technical innovation ideas, Khazar University “SDS” team was entitled to final in IV Winter Science Festival held at Baku Engineering University. SDS is a security system which uses a door-knock mechanism as a security code to open and close doors and safes.
