On December 24, 2018, the first-year students of the School of Economics and Management of Khazar University made presentations about the Hero of the Soviet Union Mehdi Huseynzadeh, a prominent Azerbaijani warrior of anti-fascist movement in Europe. On a suggestion of PhD in History Sabuhi Ahmadov, the presentations included information about childhood and university years, his military service in the Soviet Army, participation in anti-fascist movement in Europe, and heroic struggle in the battlefield. The students presented different types of presentations about the hero of Azerbaijan.

Each student making presentations emphasized, along with general points, some measures needed to be taken. Narmina Rasulova gave information about Mehdi Huseynzade's childhood and university years. In their joint presentation, Ayten Isayeva and Fatima Valizadeh talked about the heroism of the famous guerrilla and presented current photos of the places where he once fought. Gulnar Gasimli gave information about the ways of perpetuating the memory of the hero, monuments erected, the events held, the films shot in his honor.
