On December 23, 2018, the School of Economics and Management and National Accountants Forum co-organized the next workshop which was attended by prominent experts in accounting.

Delivering an opening speech, Ruslan Atakishiyev, Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the National Accountants Forum, informed the attendees about principles of the Forum and aim of the event. Then Dr. Elsevar Ibadov, Instructor of the School of Economics and Management, greeted the attendees and gave information about Khazar University’s achievements in science and education as well as MBA programs.

Then the following reports were delivered in the workshop: “Modifications and amendments in the Tax Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan” by Shamil Arabov, Deputy of Head Director of the Department of Tax Policy of the Ministry of Taxes, and Gulnar Isayeva, Division Head of the Department of Tax Policy of the Ministry of Taxes; "Impact of the amendments and additions to the Tax Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan on enterprises in various sectors" by Radil Fatullayev, Vice-president of the Economic Research and Training Center; "Impact of the amendments and additions to the Tax Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan on accounting, and explanation for problems and misunderstandings caused by these amendments" by Mehdi Babayev, Director of Baku Report Center; "Explanation for, and implementation of amendments in the Social Insurance Law" by Altay Jafarov, Audit Specialist.

Then speakers had welcoming questions and discussed various issues. Participants were presented with certificates of National Accountants Forum. The workshop was attended by chief accountants and financial managers of some well-known companies, university instructors and students.

These kinds of workshops are planned to be held monthly within the collaboration of the School of Economics and Management and National Accountants Forum.
