On December 26, 2018, on organizational support of the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences of Khazar University, a drone competition was held at “Marble” hall at “Neftchiler” campus of Khazar University. 5 teams of the Mechanical and Electronic Engineering departments were involved in the competition. The teams were assessed by the following criteria: overall weight of the drone; design; maximum width of the frame; maximum height of the frame; materials used and security.

2^nd year students, Abdulaziz Gazikhanov and Ali Dibirov - electronic engineers, and Farida Garajayeva - a mechanical engineer, were winners of the competition.
