On December 3 and 7, 2018, Hermeir College and Autism Medical Institute co-organized the first International Autism Conference in Kosovo. Experts from Australia, Turkey, the Netherlands, Serbia, Kosovo, and Sweden attended the conference. With a report “Autism and learning process”, Kamala Aliyeva (PhD candidate), Instructor of the Department of Psychology of Khazar University, represented Azerbaijan in the conference. Further reports were also made by J.Aiteken from Glasgow University, Prof. E.Vogelaar from World Health Foundation, Prof. B.Radic from Hermier College, Assoc. Prof. C.Kinaji from Autism Medical Institute and D.Helc from Union Health Terapijski. Learning with autism and medical approaches were discussed at the conference.

K.Aliyeva became a member of Turkey "Autism Medical Center” in 2015.
