On December 21, 2018, national scientific conference “Objectives Azerbaijani science faces in the period of integration” for young researchers (Master’s students and PhD candidates) took place in Lankaran State University. Khazar University associates delivered the following reports in the conference: "Innovations in higher education in the period of integration" by Ulkar Bayramova (PhD candidate), Director of Teaching and Learning Center; "Upper layers of the sentence in N.Comsky's syntactic study" by Valida Karimova (PhD candidate), Vice-dean of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences; "The importance of inclusive education for children with special needs" by Kamala Aliyeva (PhD candidate), Instructor of the School of Psychology. In the conference, speakers emphasized the educational reforms and achievements and underlined the importance of involving and encouraging the youth in researches.

After a formal part, the conference continued in sectional meetings. More than 120 reports were delivered and discussed in various sections. At the end, participants were certified.
