Associates of the Department of History and Archaeology participate in the event dedicated to 100th anniversary of Jalil Javadov

On December 18, 2018, PhD in History Sabuhi Ahmadov, Orkhan Zamanov and Ilaha Yusifli, associates of the Department of History and Archaeology of Khazar University, participated in a solemn ceremony “Admiral Jalil Javadov’s Life, Battle and Service” dedicated to 100^th anniversary of Jalil Javadov (1918-1980), the first Azerbaijani admiral, held in National History Museum of Azerbaijan.

Delivering a report “Jalil Javadov, the first Azerbaijani admiral” and making a presentation with some photos, S.Ahmadov talked about the battles in which brave warrior took part and his contribution to military and patriotic activity in a post-war period in our country.

In the event, a book entitled “Jalil Javadov. Life and Battles” authored by S.Ahmadov and published by the Ministry of Defence of Azerbaijan.
