On December 12, 2018, on organizational support of Khazar Psychological Club of Khazar University and Student Assembly, students went on an excursion to Psychiatric Hospital #1. The excursion was led by Ilgar Afandiyev, a department head of Psychiatric Hospital. First, the students went to the department of reception and received information about how patients go through an examination process. They were also informed about reasons of, and treatment for some diseases. The students gave many questions. One of the most interesting parts of the excursion was interaction with patients in the 8th department. They met with, and talked to diagnosed patients under the doctor’s supervision. The aim of the excursion was to break some stereotypes.
