“Hold My Hand” project pays first visit to Goychay

On December 15, 2018, on organization support of Nilufar Alizadeh, Instructor of the Department of Psychology of Khazar University, 4th-year students paid a visit to a boarding school named after Samad Vurghun in Goychay, within a social project. The main aim of the project was to contribute to personal development of children living and studying at the boarding school and develop their thinking and imagination to choose right targets and strategy in life. Within the project, approximately 120 books about personal development, national and international fictions, English language learning, and a 100 intellectual journals for children, entertaining and intellectual games, etc., which were gathered on voluntary contribution, were contributed to the boarding school.

Throughout the visit, students took an active part which was noteworthy in terms of developing students’ organizational skills and promising hope to children and teens who are isolated from the world. At the end, Khazar University students presented gifts to children and danced with them disguising themselves as Santa Claus and Snow Maiden. The Administration of the boarding school highly appreciated the initiative by Khazar University and expressed their gratitude.
