On December 15, 2018, a literary event dedicated to career and life of Prof. Hamlet Isakhanli, Founder of Khazar University and Chairman of its Board of Directors and Trustees, was held at school-lyceum #72 in Sabunchu district, Baku. The event entitled “In the light of a life” started with planting a tree by Prof. Hamlet Isakhanli. An exhibition, with its interesting design, dedicated to life and career of Hamlet Isakhanli drew guests’ attention. First, H. Isakhanli got familiar with the school. The event covered various stages of H. Isakhanli’s life. Fargana Abbasova, the school director, introduced the scholar to the audience. She called H.Isakhanli national and moral asset of our nation and country. The event became more entertaining with poems and music lyrics by H.Isakhanli. Then H. Isakhanli had welcoming questions by teachers and pupils and took part in the discussion about his career. The speech of the scientist and the poems he read were met with great sympathy. The event was attended by pupils, teachers, parents, education workers of the district as well as associates of Khazar University and "Dunya" School.

At the end of the event, one of the parents presented H.Isakhanli with a portrait painted by himself as a token of love and respect.
