On December 13, 2018, the meeting of the Statistical Council under the State Statistical Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan was held. Prof. Hamlet Isakhanli, a member of the Statistical Council, the Founder of Khazar University and the Chairman of the Board of Directors and Trustees, also participated in the deliberations.

At the meeting of the Council, work plan for 2019 on Implementation of State Program on Development of Official Statistics in the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2018-2025 and results of the pilot census taken in Gabala from October 1-10, 2018 were discussed.
