On December 7, 2018, Dr. Hassan Niknafs, Rector, Jabir Khalilov, Dean, as well as staff of Dean’s office and heads of departments had a meeting with first-year students of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences in “Marble” hall of Khazar University. First, Dr. Hassan Niknafs delivered a speech and advised students to take lessons serious and adhere strictly to discipline. Citing successful graduates of the University, Dr. Hassan Niknafs encouraged students in future achievements.

A representative of the Azerbaijan Youth Foundation under the President of Republic of Azerbaijan, Aygun Aliyeva, a second-year student of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, and Minakhanim Salimova, a fourth-year undergraduate student in Political Sciences, who were winners of the competition announced in Brussels on the study visit to the European Parliament, also participated in the meeting. They were among 20 students out of 201 applicants entitled to study visit. Both students were awarded a letter of gratitude by Rector in front of first-year students.

Then, Jabir Khalilov, Dean of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, got the floor and had welcoming questions about students’ problems and final exams.
