FIST team holds a round-table discussion “The Role of Women in Society”

On November 14, 2018, the FIST team of the School of Economics and Management of Khazar University, held a round-table discussion “The Role of Women in Society”. The aim of the discussion was, as it is obvious from the team’s slogan, “not to propagate feminism but to change societal attitude to women”. In the event which was organized by the FIST team under guidance of team leader Dr. Bahadir Baysal, women’s positions in society were debated. Along with positive opinions, negative remarks were also mentioned in the discussion. Contradiction among opinions caused heated debate. Team members suggested solutions to negative remarks. The event was attended by students from various schools and age groups.

The FIST team consisting of students of the School of Economics and Management participated in the project Peer to Peer Facebook Global Digital Challenge.
