On November 25, 2018, with a joint organizational support of the School of Economics and Management of Khazar University and National Accountants Forum, another workshop on “Report on accounting of cost and cash flows” was held in Conference and Concert hall named after Fikrat Amirov at Khazar University campus in the city centre. The workshop was attended by prominent accounting experts, graduate and PhD students of Khazar University as well as students of Baku Engineering University.

Greeting the attendees, Dr. Elsevar Ibadov, Instructor of the School of Economics and Management, gave detailed information about Khazar University and quality education at undergraduate and graduate levels. He also mentioned that accounting speciality at Khazar University is aligned with international standards. After his speech, a promo video about Khazar University was displayed.

Dr. Ruslan Atakishiyev, Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the National Accountants Forum, informed the attendees about principles of the Forum and aim of the event. Then Dr. Elsevar Ibadov, Instructor of the School of Economics and Management, made a presentation on “Report about Cash Flow” and answered questions. Radil Fatullayev, Vice-president of Economic Research and Training Center, and Elvin Hasanov, Financial Manager of Cahan Holding, gave information on “Calculation of cost value and calculation methods” giving practical examples. Mehdi Babayev, Editor-in-chief of the journal "Professional Accountant”, reported on “Costs and changes envisaged in the Tax Code” and touched on current practical problems.

The workshop was concluded by welcoming questions and discussions and certification of the participants.

Next workshops of National Accountants Forum are also planned to be co-organized with Khazar University.
