On October 27 and 28, 2018, Araz Aslanli, Instructor of the Department of History and Archaeology of Khazar University, participated in an international conference “The Kartepe Summit” held in Turkey. An opening ceremony of the conference was attended by Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Chavusoglu, Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu, former Greek Prime Minister Jorgos Papandreu, as well as officials of UN, EU, and foreign countries.

A special panel was held on Garabagh conflict at the conference which is also known as “Turkish Davos”. Araz Aslanli, Instructor of the Department of History and Archaeology of Khazar University, delivered a report on Garabagh conflict in the panel as a special reporter. There was a question and answer session after the reports.
