On November 7, 2018, a delegation from the Ardabil University of Medical Sciences visited Neftchiler campus of Khazar University.

Members of the delegation included Dr. Ghodrat Akhavan-Akbari, Chancellor; Dr. Mojtaba Amani, Director of International Affairs Office; and Dr. Masood Entezariasl, Vice-President in Education.

Guests met with the Dr. Hassan Niknafs, Rector, Assoc.Prof. Irada Khalilova Vice-Rector for Research, and Ms. Turan Jafarova, Director of International Affairs Office. Participants of the meeting discussed mutually beneficial partnership, in particular, conducting joint research projects, establishment of double-degree programs, and others issues.

A tour of the university was organized for the guests. Guests visited laboratories and met heads of academic departments. Visit of the delegation concluded with signing a Memorandum of Understanding.
