On October 30 – November 1, 2018, the 14^th FICCI Higher Education Summit was held in New Delhi, India.

"FICCI Higher Education Summit 2018" is an International Exhibition and Conference on

Higher Education jointly organized by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India and the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry. Summit brought together representatives of more than 40 countries for professional networking and partnership building.

Ms. Turan Jafarova, Director of the International Affairs Office, was one of the six hosted delegates from Azerbaijan selected to participate in the summit. Other HEIs from Azerbaijan were represented by International Office staff members of State Pedagogical University, State Academy of Fine Arts, Azerbaijan State Economic University, and ADA University. Delegation from Azerbaijan also included a representative of the International Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Education.

During the summit, representatives of Azerbaijani universities held meetings with local universities participating in the education fair. These one-on-one meetings allowed to discuss possible areas of future cooperation and lay a foundation for mutually beneficial partnership.
