Final DESCnet Project meeting held at Ilia State University

On October 24-26, 2018, the last meeting of the DESCnet (the Network for Developing European Studies in the Caucasus) project was held at Ilia State University in Tbilisi, Georgia. Funded by the European Union’s Erasmus+ Jean Monnet Program, the DESCnet was designed with the aim to enhance the level of European Studies in the Caucasus region.

The final meeting was concentrated on overall evaluation of the DESCnet project results. Elmar Mustafayev, lecturer and coordinator of Political Science and International Relations Department, represented Khazar University at the meeting and informed the representatives of partner universities about the works done by Khazar University within the DESCnet project.

Moreover, partner universities expressed their desire and commitment to further fruitful collaborations and decided to re-apply for a consortia of Erasmus+ Jean Monnet Network.
