Book-album “Ancient and Medieval weapons of Azerbaijan” co-authored by Assoc. Prof. Sabuhi Ahmadov, PhD in History and Instructor of the Department of History and Archaeology of Khazar University, has been published. Scientific editor of the publication is Academician Naila Valikhanli, Director of National Museum of Azerbaijan History; coordinator is Nasir Guluzadeh, PhD in History; co-authors are S.Ahmadov, PhD in History, E.Mammadov and N.Garayeva. The book contains detailed information about the weapons preserved in the archaeological collection of the National Museum of Azerbaijan History. Some of those weapons have been found during archaeological expeditions in Shaki, Gazakh, Gabala, Mingachevir and the Caspian Sea basin. Besides, the book provides information about randomly found guns in Dashkasan, Lankaran, Gazakh, Nakhchivan and other regions. The book contains 82 archaeological findings.
