On October 9, 2018, Prof. Daniel Dan, Vice-rector of Politehnica University of Timișoara, as well as Prof. Tamas Nagy Gyorgy and Dr. Sorin Codrut Florut, Instructors at the Department of Civil Engineering of the same university, visited Khazar University. The delegation met with Dr. Hassan Niknafs, Rector of Khazar University, and discussed instructor/student exchange programs and other issues of mutual interest. Moreover, the details of dual diploma programs were also discussed.

Then the delegation delivered a seminar on 3 various topics to instructors and students of the Department of Civil Engineering, the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences of Khazar University.

The seminar ended with a question and answer session.
