Excursion of International Students of Khazar University to the National Museum of Azerbaijan History

On October 9, 2018, international students with their senior lecturer, Bayram Guliyev, visited National Museum of History of Azerbaijan, where a large part of Azerbaijani history is demonstrated visually with more than 300,000 exhibits. A visit to the National Museum of Azerbaijan History, which covers periods from Prehistory to Modern days, made an incredible impression on the students who had come from different countries (Iraq, Pakistan, Nigeria, etc.). The students gained information on the human settlement in Azerbaijan from the Prehistoric period by observing the low jaw bones of Azykhanthrop. The fact that one of the epic monuments of Azerbaijan, the Book of Dada Gorgud, was written in Arabic calligraphy and Arabic alphabet was used in Azerbaijan from the Medieval Ages to the end of the 1920s of XX century, impressed the international students from Arab countries.
