On October 7, 2018, on organizational support of the Department of Geography and the Environment of Khazar University, an excursion was organized to Shahdagh National Park, the part in Ismayilli region, within the subject of “Environment”. Within a field study, the students took the “Buynuz” route (3,7 km), the 8th route of Shahdagh National Park. Here they were enlightened about mountain forest landscape, oak, hawthorn, beech, blackberries, hawthorn, pebbles and other plant species, as well as brown bear, noble deer, Caucasian chamois, lynx, grave eagle, Caucasian tetra, Caucasian snowcock, included in Red List of Threatened Species.
